The number of cars covered by its business increased by nearly 110 million. It is estimated that by 2015, electronic components will account for 40% of the total value of global vehicles, and 60% of the repairs in auto repair shops will be related to electronic issues. With the new car out of warranty, it is expected to bring about $8 billion in potential business opportunities for the independent aftermarket.
